Where Rapid Release comes from

Built by a chiropractor, for the treatment room.

Rapid Release Technology is based in Costa Mesa, California. Its patented short-stroke orbital vibration platform (US Patent 20200197258A1) was invented by chiropractor Dr. Stanley Stanbridge, and today its devices are used across chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, athletic training, and acupuncture practices in the United States and Canada.

Physio Supplies Canada is your Canadian source for the full Rapid Release lineup — Pro3+, ProAm, and Traveler.

Why vibration outperforms percussion

Short-stroke vibration, not hammering.

Percussion massage guns use a heavy, hammering motion — 2,100 to 3,600 RPM, with up to 5/8" of stroke depth. That's effective on large muscle groups, but it can trigger muscle guarding and isn't safe over sensitive structures.

Rapid Release's patented short-stroke orbital vibration runs at a much higher frequency with a fraction of the stroke depth — just 1/16" (1.6mm) — so energy transfers as vibration rather than impact.

Patients in significant discomfort can often tolerate vibration therapy when percussion or manual pressure is too much — a common clinical reason practitioners choose Rapid Release for sensitive areas.
